CMS Entities

CMS entities is located under the support files submenu. It is a screen made up of several sections: Shipper, Forwarder, Consignee, Lines and Container Yards\Warehouses. In every one of those sections you can add/edit the company name that you need to define. For Shipper, forwarder and consignee it is very easy to add EIN, FMC, Reference numbers, respectively. Also in the Lines Tab a new line can be added, assigning the Scac code and basic information about how it will behave and the last section, Yards and Warehouse. In every case the only requirement is that the company, yard or line already exists in the CMS

During the setup procedure of the warehouse\container yard, there is an option to define the type of numbering; this can be manual, automatic or mixed, meaning that it will accept, either manual or automatic numbers assigned by the computer.
