Minimums per B/L

The minimums per B/L are used most of the time when working with loose cargo. In order for the rating process in a bill of lading to take this into account, a special setup in the rating defaults needs to take place, as follows:

1. Rating type B/L Min
2. rating defaults

1. Type X, amount will have the minimum in the amount field. not in the Minimum field that is only for minimums per line item
2. Type F with the amount and the rating type W/M or whatever for loose cargo. Minimum amount blank.
3. In the B/L it will show a difference at the bottom. If it is greater or equal should be zero, if it is less than the minimum, shows the difference.

Minimums per line item

1. Rating type any different than B/L min

2. Rating defaults:

a. Type F. Amount in amount field and minimum in min field

b. It will not show difference in the B/L
