Equipment Type

Equipment type is used throughout the traffic module, to specify whether a container or loose cargo is being used. ISIS identifies the following types

‘.N.A.’ for all types of equipment. If this type is used in the rating defaults setup, the rate will be applicable to all container types. If it is used in the equipment control module, it means that the type has to be defined

‘LCL’ is used to identify loose cargo. Within the loose cargo, ISIS uses also package type for the dock receipts: BX f or boxes, CS for cases, BD for bundles, etc.

‘CONT’, is only used when related to rating defaults. If this type is used, it will apply to all container types, 20CT, 40CT, 40HC, 40RF, etc
