Rate group

The Rate Group field can be one of the following:

G’ for General, General would be a charge not based on the commodity or equipment type/size, no matter what the users is manifesting, it will apply the same tariff. Such as B/L fee.

‘I’ for Insurance charges

‘F’ for Freight, for charges that depend on the equipment type, LCL or container type

‘M’ for memo. This type is meant to be used on tariffs that do not apply to every B/L with similar behavior. They will appear in an additional window as a reminder that under the current criteria, they have been applied in past B/L’s. They will pop-up as a reminder

B/L min for B/L minimum, used specially in loose cargo and weight or measurement based rates. Given a minimum, even if the calculation is lower than the minimum amount, the program will add an extra line with the difference to complete the minimum.
