Features: TIR

 

1 TIR Header

 

Under File you will find the following options

 

New: Opens a new window to create a new TIR or to access an existing one

 

Close Closes the window

 

Last TIR, will open the last TIR number that you were working on

 

Prior: If you are in a TIR, it will take you to the previous one

 

Next If you are in a TIR, it will take you to the next one

 

Save TIR After a TIR has been edited; you can use this option to save changes that you have made

 

Cancel Edit; deletes what you have typed in a specific field

 

Find TIR option, similar to the one in the other documents, such as bookings, dock receipts, bills of lading. The search can be based on container number, CMS, booking, Bill of Lading, Invoice number, Hold.

 

In-Bond information can be captured, specifying the type of movement

 

Specific Notes can be added to the Dock Receipt, by clicking on the respective icon, or by going under the File menu

 

There is an Audit history of the TIR. Any change that is made to the receipt, after the initial entry gets registered in this file

 

The Equipment Master can be accessed from the TIR, to get more detailed information about the container

 

 

Under the Edit menu, you will find the options to put the TIR on Hold.

 

Under the Forms option, you will find the option to print the receipt

 

Under the View menu, you will find the following options

 

            Change Color; modifies the colors of your screen.

Hide Address and Collapse Address in Detail can be used to modify the view of the screen. These options hide or show the CMS address, allowing the user to view more/less information, depending on the selected option.

Show Toolbar; shows or hides the main toolbar

New window when finding TIR; this feature works in the same way it works in all other documents. If it is selected and the user goes to the Find TIR option and finds a desired TIR, it will be opened on a new window.

Recommend Last Trucker used, if this option is selected, it will assign the last trucker used

 

Under Window, you will find options to view several receipt at the same time, by displaying them horizontally or vertically, or simply view them one by one.

                       

To print or preview the receipt, click on the corresponding icon or go to the File menu and select the option. The print option, includes the e-mail button and the ability to extract info to Excel

 

 

2. TIR detail section

 

The detail entry in the TIR shows the following tabs:

 

  1. Comments; to add comments to your receipt, you can type them or select them from the Comment window by hitting Enter or double-clicking on them.
  2. Equipment Destination, shows the current location of the container, this can be changed if needed. It is very important to have accurate information, since this will be used by several inventory and Depot Holdings reports, to know where the container is
  3. Bills of Lading, shows the bill(s) of lading in which the container is manifested. If needed, it can be accessed by hitting Enter or double-clicking on the line item.
  4. Commercial Invoices; this is the section that contains the invoices with the cargo value and bank drafts (if any). The value can be used for insurance purposes, which can be related to the bill of lading rating information
  5. Documents, to attach pictures from the cargo, Scans can automatically be attached to the documents
